Amazon Kicks Off Spring Sale For Hundreds of PC Games
Posted on Sunday, April 8 @ 11:11:04 Eastern by Sebastian_Moss
Amazon has kicked off a huge PC download spring sale in the US, with games like Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine now priced at $9.99, Saints Row: The Third available for $24.99 and Metro 2033 setting you back only $4.99.
Most of the games are admittedly a tad old, and a lot of the DLC is just filler to bulk out the list (unless you're a big fan of Ship Simulator Extreme), but there are some games that are worthy of purchase, so be sure to give the list a quick look here, or skip right to buying World of Goo for 85% off.
I picked up the Dragon Age Ultimate Pack, which is DA:O with all DLC and DA2 with the Black Emporium for ten bucks. I already had both game for 360, but none of the DLC except the stuff I got for buying them new. For only ten bucks, it's a steal.
My recommendations: Sword of the Stars (4.00) - Very good multiplayer focus, space-based 4X game. However, it has a really bad learning curve, and not a lot of polish. Majesty 2 (2.00) - Interesting RTS gameplay. Kinda gets old by the end, and the difficulty curve is annoying in some parts, but only 2.00. The rest I can't speak for, or are probably well known enough to stand on their own.
*Sigh* They don't make any great games for Macs, and my BootCamp partition is too small to fill up with downloaded games. I love my macbook, but I miss PC gaming.

I suggest Majesty and Majesty 2. Kinda hard games, but fun.
