Amazon Video Now On A PS3 Near You

Posted on Tuesday, April 3 @ 10:32:55 PST by Keri_Honea

So what would make your PS3's video options even more awesome? Amazon's Instant Video service, that's what. And guess what? Your wish has been granted.

Amazon confirmed that their video service is available under the PS3's TV/Video Services tab as I write this. Instead of appearing in your XMB after a firmware update, it's available for download through the Video tab. There is no subscription service for Amazon Instant Video, but if you are a Prime member, you have access to a massive library of free TV shows and movies.

Next step better be on the Vita. Once that happens, I will most likely cancel my Netflix and Hulu Plus subscriptions all together.
