Angry Birds Space Gameplay Is Out Of This World... Really!

Posted on Thursday, March 8 @ 15:52:07 Eastern by

I know downloads of Angry Birds are at astronomical levels, but now their announcements are literally out of this world.

Rovio has teamed up with NASA and astronaut Don Pettit to debut Angry Birds Space gameplay, and show off how the in-game, zero-gravity physics will work, by doing a real zero-gravity launch using a plushie Angry Birds red bird.

Listen up though. Even if Angry Birds isn't your bag, baby, watch this video for the sake of Don Pettit's hilarious nerdiness.

Angry Birds Space releases on March 22nd for iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and PC.

Am I the only one who thinks Worms is a lot better than Angry Birds? I wish it was as popular, at least the 2d ones.
