Angry Birds Space May Not Take Flight on PS Vita

Posted on Monday, March 19 @ 08:00:53 Eastern by

If Angry Birds Space has even half of the success as the original game, then every damn console, mobile phone, handheld, or tablet manufacturer should be begging to have Rovio put it on their device. And Rovio is totally cool with that, as they've told Joystiq at the recent SXSW expo that they're keep to get the game on "all the screens".

But there is one screen in particular that Angry Birds Space won't be on, and that's the PlayStation Vita. At least not yet, anyway. Not until Sony does something about it anyway. Rovio's chief marketing officer Peter Vesterbacka said that it's more up to Sony to make it happen.

Angry Birds Space is bound to sell...a lot, so Sony would be foolish not to to all they can to get it onto the PlayStation Vita. And with it's OLED touchscreen, it would be right at home.
