After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures Now Blazing With Pre-Orders

Posted on Thursday, August 22 @ 16:24:23 PST by

The Nerd Is Coming...

The video game that you've always wanted is nearly here and is available to pre-order on Steam right now. The Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures, abbreviated AVGN Adventures, developed by ScrewAttack Games and Freakzone Games, features the titular, pixelated character as he attempts to save the world "from shitty games once and for all" in this homage to all things great on the NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis.

The ten levels in AVGN Adventures, with names like Assholevania, Future Fuckballs 2010, and Dungeons & Dickholes (sounds all like gay porn, actually...), will be based on AVGN's online series and will come with plenty of cameos and easter eggs.

If you're too busy to watch the minute-long trailer above (and just how busy can you be!), know that if you pre-order AVGN Adventures now, you will nab a 10% discount. And if you do so before September 5th, you might become an NPC in the game itself. Sweet!

Anyone going to PAX Prime next week can check out AVGN Adventures at the Symbiote Studios Booth, Booth #6118. It's currently on schedule for a late September/early October release.
