Annihilation Map Pack for Black Ops Announced

Posted on Thursday, June 16 @ 06:40:30 Eastern by

The third DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops has been announced. Annihilation will join both First Strike and Escalation in bringing new maps to Black Ops. Annihilation will release on June 28th on Xbox LIVE, and an unspecified time later on the PC and PS3.

Annihilation brings four new multiplayer maps: Hanger 18, Drive-In, Silo and Hazard. On top of the four traditional maps, there will be an all-new zombie experience called Shangri-La, which Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia says is "an exotic and mysterious map filled with deadly traps, dark secrets and innovative gameplay that will challenge even the most daring Zombie hunters".

Shortly after the release of Annihilation, Treyarch will kick off a double XP weekend on July 1st to celebrate yet another landmark DLC release.

I just said the same thing yesterday to a buddy of mine. I think I'm done spending $ on MW's. I'm waiting for BF3 now...it looks amazing.
