Are You Playing the Mass Effect 3 Demo Early?

Posted on Saturday, November 5 @ 14:46:08 Eastern by

The details aren't as clear as we'd like them to be, but somehow users enrolled in Microsoft's Dashboard Beta program managed to download the Mass Effect 3 singleplayer and multiplayer demo early... in November... and the demo isn't out until next year. Wha... how?

Coming in at 1.8 BG of data, users were able to play the single-player demo and poke around in the multiplayer menus. Did you catch this while playing online last night? Send in any screenshots you've got and we'll plaster them all over this page with your name on it!

I can't look. i'm rationing the ME3 screen viewing that I do. Much like how I tried to with Skyrim (but failed miserably)

I have actually managed to go this whole time without seeing a single video of Skyrim! 6 days and I can make it!

I hope that interface isn't in the final version. It's almost as unappealing as Uncharted 3's.

Hey, at least its not that god-awful "light-orange text on organge background" from ME2. Actually, that was the color scheme for the entire game. I'm fairly sure it actually made my sight worse.

I don't give a flying **** what they change it to, they just need to change it.

I hate when games adopt color schemes.

Like Battlefield with all the damned blue. Even in the post processing effects.

Bioware didn't accidentally post anything. It was Microsoft's fault with their Xbox LIVE Dashboard preview.
