Assassin's Creed III Gets Delayed For PC

Posted on Friday, August 10 @ 16:00:00 Eastern by

Hey guys! Assassin's Creed III is launching across Xbox 360, PS3, and PC all on the same date!!

Pffffttt, NOT!

Like the Assassin's Creed before it, and the Assassin's Creed before that (and the Assassin's Creed before that), Assassin's Creed III will release on PC after the console version, this time to the tune of about three weeks. In the UK, the PC version will launch on November 23rd. In the US, it'll launch on November 20th.

And the world continues to turn.

I hope this is for some amazing DirectX 11 enhancements or something. If it is I'll be pissed and have to cancel my pre-order for the collector's edition for 360.

I have both Brotherhood and Revelations via Steam, and I'm rather unimpressed at the quality of the ports. They run decently, albeit with some control issues on keyboard/mouse, but you'd think that with all the settings turned up to max I wouldn't have to deal with people appearing out of thin air right in front of Ezio.

Ubisoft has terrible PC ports. I'm surprised that Ghost Recon: Future Soldier got DirectX 11 treatment at all and was well worth the extra wait.

I never had any real problems with any of the assassin's creed games on my PC. Nothing like that at all. Occasional lag, but at least I wasn't have screen tearing problems like my friend who got AC2 on PS3.

NOOOO! So sick and tired of pc gamers getting the shaft on multi release dates. Prototype 2 just release recently well after the consoles.
