Assassin's Creed III: Liberation For Vita, White Vita Bundle Also Available

Posted on Monday, June 4 @ 18:47:51 Eastern by

Sony announced today in their press conference that Assassin's Creed III would get a Vita spin-off in the form of Assassin's Creed III: Liberation. The game stars a female assassin in the Revolutionary War period and will connect with the PS3 release of Assassin's Creed III for exclusive unlockable content.

Sony's making a big deal out of this portable AC entry, giving it an exclusive bundle with a Crystal White PlayStation Vita. These will be at retail later this year.

Creative Director Alex Hutchinson took the stage at Sony's press conference to show off ship combat gameplay in Assassin's Creed III. Apparently, Connor will have plenty of mateys to sail the high seas with.

We'll bring you more from E3 all week. Be sure to check out all of our E3 coverage at our tag page.

I saw that and began thinking about Pirates of the Caribbean, I don't know how a pirate assassin could work but I'd like to see one.

If I can make someone walk the plank, while near a deserted island, and give them only one shot in their gun that will eventually be used to kill me until the end of the first sequel, I could get into this game. :)

Part of me would rather just have AC III on Vita instead of a..."alternate" game. It just makes it seem kinda lame. Like Black Ops Declassified.
