Atlus announced Persona 5 as part of its larger Persona-series self-celebrating countdown and franchise presentation. Teddie spoke with the online audience for quite a while and revealed several games before finally showing the crowd Persona 5.

The very brief teaser came at the end of a 40 minute presentation hosted by Persona 4's Teddie. As the clip progressed, the chairs above and the chains and weights attached to them appeared one by one.

Persona 5 is exclusive to PlayStation 3. The game is slated for release in Japan Winter 2014. Atlus also announced Persona 4 Dancing All Night for PlayStation Vita and Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth for Nintendo 3DS.
