LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Battlefield 3 Battlelog App Finally Released By EA

Posted on Monday, April 16 @ 11:05:27 Eastern by Jonathan_Leack

Wait, it actually exists?

Ever since Battlefield 3's Battlelog site went live during beta EA has been talking about a mobile app that is on the way. After more than six months of seeing the thing advertised like Viagra it has been released to the public. I couldn't be more surprised.

The EA Battlelog app is currently available on the iOS App Store. Below is a screenshot of the main interface along with descriptions of all included features.

Battle Feed
Get real-time notifications when your friends unlock new weapons or get new awards. “Hooah!” and comment on their posts.

Com Center
See which friends are playing right now and what servers they are playing on. View your friends’ profiles and plan for tonight’s game by leaving a message on their wall.

Stats & Unlocks
Track your progress and performance on the battlefield with detailed soldier stats. Check out the dog tags you have collected from your foes and see what new weapons, gadgets, vehicle upgrades, and specializations you are about to unlock next.

Leaderboards
Compare your standing among your friends on the friends leaderboard and view the top worldwide players on the global leaderboard.

News
Stay up to date with the latest Battlelog and Battlefield news. Get essential updates directly from DICE, the developers of Battlefield 3.
The EA Battlelog app is free and so far it works as advertised. Its interface is slick and overall is a fun way to kill productivity in the office. Unfortunately, it's exclusive to iOS for the time being and no other versions have been announced.

Now go get the app and stalk your friends as they level up while you're at work. That way you have a reason to friendly fire them once you get home. Mission accomplished.
