Battlefield 3 Beta Starts Next Week

Posted on Tuesday, September 20 @ 12:01:33 Eastern by

News comes from the frontline that Battlefield 3's hotly anticipated open beta will be landing on September 29th and running through to October 10th. Players will also be able to participate in the social Battlelog platform. The beta is confined to Rush Mode on the Paris map, Operation Metro.

Don't forget that preordering the PC version from Origin or having the code in Limited Edition boxes of Medal of Honor will net you an extra 48 hours in the beta, allowing you to start on September 27th. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 gamers will find access to the beta in their respective digital marketplaces while PC gamers will need to install and download the beta from Origin.

I'll definitely be trying this out, I want to see how it plays on PS3 and see if it's worth preordering along with Dark Souls. I haven't played a shooter in so long
