Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

Battlefield 3 Brings a Fighter Jet to Gamescom

Posted on Wednesday, August 10 @ 12:31:11 Eastern by

Germany. Land of beer, brat wursts, funny-sounding words like schnitzel, and as is the case with Gamescom, huge marketing set pieces. What the... is that a fighter jet?

Yes, Electronic Arts and DICE have brought a MIG 21 warplane to sit in the middle of their booth at Gamescom in promotion of Battlefield 3. Despite not showing off any fighter-jet gameplay, someone at EA thought it was right to tease us like this.

They were wrong. This is wrong.

The news report states that the MIG 21 was transported from Berlin to Cologne for a figure in the 10s of thousands of Euros. As one of the biggest gaming conventions open to the public, and the largest gaming convention in Europe, EA and DICE spared no expense in beefing up their booth for Battlefield 3. The wings were reportedly attached today. The jet will be on view from August 18th to August 21st.

That would be ideal. I don't know what the press conference situation is like at Gamescom, but either way there'll be fresh media from the show.

I just want to know one thing, are there going to be C-4 wearing K-9’s flying the jets?

    (I know dogs = MW3. Jets = BF3)

With the way video games are going these days and that kind of marketing overhead I wouldn't be surprised if BF3 was the first game ever to be priced at $69.99

"Was it the high rising development cost that made you take this risk and being the first to break the $69.99 bubble?"
"No it was the ****ing jet we brought in from Berlin."
    "Oh...."
