Battlefield 4 Details Leak, Appears To Be Next-Gen With New Engine

Posted on Tuesday, March 26 @ 14:06:00 Eastern by Jonathan_Leack

More explosions. More realism. More awesome.

Details have emerged from GDC which state that Battlefield 4 will utilize a new Frostbite engine, labeled version 3.0. It will bring much improved shaders and effects, new animations, weather particles, and more realistic destructive environments. Battlefield 4 hasn't been "officially" announced, but is expected to be shown in a theater hall later today. Stay tuned for the full scoop!
