Battlefield 4 Teasers Hint At Land And Sea Combat

Posted on Thursday, March 21 @ 12:50:29 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Electronic Arts plans to rock the gaming world next week with the official unveiling of Battlefield 4. This is easily one of the publisher's most valuable franchises, so expect them to go all out on this one.

In an effort to generate hype for next week, two 20-second teaser trailers have made their way online. Not a whole lot is shown (hence "teaser") but the clip above indicates that we'll likely see some sea-based missions, and, to no one's surprise, the second clip (below) features a tank.

GameRevolution will be on location in San Francisco next week for DICE's big Battlefield 4 reveal during GDC, so keep it tuned right here for all the details.

See, I'd love to play Battlefield, I really would. I don't want it on any of the consoles though, I want it for my PC, and for that, I need Origin. I'm not letting Origin anywhere near my computer, though. Until they release it on multiple distribution platforms on the PC, EA isn't getting my money. I've never used Origin, nor will I ever. I won't even give it a chance.

It wound up on my computer because, I want to say, I didn't know any better and let it install when I bought the original Crysis. It never got used, and was deleted as soon as I found out it was online.

So in other words, I agree with you about Battlefield.

I really do not understand this viewpoint on Origin, yes it is not nearly as good as steam but it is not invasive and doesn't cost anything it just sits there and let's you play your game. It is a real shame people are avoiding playing an excellent game like BF which has to have been one of the best supported games of the current gen if ever, DICE getting there timed expansions spot on and engaging their user base consistently.
