If it doesn't come to PS4/X720 then it's a bad move for Platinum.

Nintendo is publishing it, which implies but doesn't prove that it will be WiiU-exclusive.

Dumb move. The Nintendo crowd wants fairies and candy, not boobs and guns.

Pretty bizarre move if you ask me. Is this an indicator that Nintendo wants to get back into the more "adult" games, or are they going to tone the whole thing down, thereby ruining the whole game?

In any case, the only way I can imagine this being a workable deal for Platinum, is if no one else was willing to publish it for some reason.

The way I hear it, the project nearly got canceled for lack of funds, and then Nintendo swooped in. No idea if this is true or not; I'm just passing along hear-say.

Bayonetta wasn't so great that I would buy a Wii U to play a sequel.

Everyone gets on Nintendo's case for not catering to a more hardcore gamer crowd, I think this is a better move for Nintendo (not as good for Platinum obviously) but give it to Nintendo, trying to get some exclusive content. I loved the first Bayonetta, I was already probably going to get a WiiU but knowing this exclusive, that might push me closer to the Wii.

I have to agree it's a sound move by nintendo. They already have the younger group locked in with the illusion about the wii so they really don't need to "Try" to appeal to that crowd anymore. If they can lock "Hardcore games" then I think Wii U will be a solid system. Actually I already think it is based on what I've seen.

They say that now, but give it one to two years after release and it will come to current gen or next-gen consoles. I'm not really worried.

    Just like Madworld?
Bayonetta 1 was (and is) a very good action game indeed.
