Become Hopelessly Addicted To Gardening And Zombies In This Week's PS+ Update

Posted on Monday, February 25 @ 16:30:00 Eastern by

It was 4 A.M. and there were empty pizza boxes, bags of empty Chinese takeout containers, syringes filled with what I could only assume to be chlorophyl... The TV burned with bright primary colors and my eyes felt itchy with allergens.

It was only the second day of my Plants Vs. Zombies addiction, but I couldn't put the controller down. Not satisfied with infecting myself and anyone else who bought the game previously, Sony and Popcap are teaming up to give PvZ for the Vita to every PlayStation Plus subscriber with the ability to shoot themselves up with awesome gameplay.

Retro/Grade for the PS3 is also getting a PS+ discount, as is its soundtrack. To round out this week's update, Sony is ready to discount the Gamers' Choice Awards 2013 winners, but we'll have to wait and see who won what tomorrow.

I wouldn't say Plants VS Zombies is a reason why people should get PS Plus. People should get it, because it expands their gaming library and some games are pretty damn decent to get.

I've only played PvZ because it's been free a dozen times across multiple platforms, and I can never finish it because it's just soooooo boring.

PvZ is the perfect defense game, in my opinion. Very straight forward, great economy and clear cut offense and defense choices with plenty of variety.

Too bad that most people probably own it.
