Bethesda Announces BattleCry, a Free-to-Play Combat Game for PC

Posted on Wednesday, May 28 @ 08:30:35 PST by Alex_Osborn
Bethesda Softworks has just lifted the lid on BattleCry, a brand-new multiplayer-based PC game that is completely free to play.

However, unlike most competitive multiplayer games out there today, BattleCry isn't about mowing down as many players as you can with a machine gun. Instead, gamers will be equipped with an array of different weapons, including swords, bows, shields, and more as they duke it out in epic 32-player battles.

For a better idea of what this game is all about, check out the announcement trailer below.

For more on BattleCry, be sure to keep it locked to GameRevolution. Our own "Ninja" Nick Tan got some up-close and personal time with the game, a preview for which will be going up shortly.

Look forward to the beta, which is set to arrive sometime on PC next year.
