Bethesda Releasing Skyrim Workshop In 1.4 Update

Posted on Wednesday, February 1 @ 15:02:51 Eastern by

Bethesda has finally announced that the Skyrim Workshop is now out of beta and is available through Steam with the 1.4 Update. This will be a godsend for modders and modding fans all of the world. Bethesda is currently "putting the final touches on the Creation Kit and Skyrim Workshop and will let everyone know as soon as they're up".

The Creation Kit for Skyrim wil be familiar to anyone who has used the version for Fallout 3, so veteran Bethesda modders will have no trouble forming their own draconic quests. The Skyrim Workshop will allow players to browse and search for the most recent and most highly-rated mods, subscribe to their favorite mods, and post feedback for other modders. For those making mods, The Creation Kit will be free via Steam under Tools and has plenty of helpful documentation in their Creaiton Kit Wiki.
