Bethesda's New Game Is... The Evil Within

Posted on Friday, April 19 @ 06:06:46 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

The speculation can finally come to an end, as Bethesda has announced that their new project is a horror title called The Evil Within.

The game is being developed by Shinji Mikami's studio Tango Gameworks, and is set to launch on current and next-gen platforms in 2014. For those that don't know, Mikami is the brilliant mind behind the Resident Evil franchise, so those hungry for something fresh and new in the blood-curling horror genre have much to be excited about.

“We’re incredibly proud to announce The Evil Within. My team and I are committed to creating an exciting new franchise, providing fans the perfect blend of horror and action,” Mikami said.

If you haven't already done so, be sure to check out the live-action trailer above and sound off in the comments below with your thoughts.
