BioShock Infinite Industrial Revolution DLC Detailed

Posted on Thursday, January 24 @ 08:15:44 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Irrational Games and 2K Games have released a new trailer detailing BioShock Infinite's first downloadable content pack, dubbed Industrial Revolution.

The add-on includes three different gear sets: the Sugar Rush set, which improves speed; the Fleet Fleet set, which enhances evasion; and the Handyman Nemesis set, which boosts damage. In addition, the DLC includes 500 Silver Eagles (the game's form of money), five lockpicks, and a puzzle that unlocks the history of Columbia.

Those who pre-order the game before its release on March 26th will be able to get these digital goodies free of charge.

Yeah, no, I don't know. Pre-order goodies are nice, but do I really want to have that advantage?

The puzzle info will be on the wiki a day or two after launch, the bonuses are sure to upset the game balance and shave meat off the challenge. I'd skip it. Besides, I want to know if this game is even any good. Not as good as Bioshock was supposed to be, or as good as System Shock 2. I've long given up on that. What I want to know is if, on its own terms, the game is good.
