BioShock Infinite Season Pass Announced

Posted on Thursday, February 21 @ 08:53:20 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

The next entry in Irrational Games' BioShock series launches next month, and along with it will be the option to purchase a Season Pass that will get you all three upcoming DLC packs for a reduced price.

Shelling out the $19.99 (1600 Microsoft Points) for the pass won't just get you the aforementioned downloadable content, as a number of other digital bonuses will be tossed into what Irrational is calling the "Early Bird Special Pack." This little bundle of joy includes four new pieces of gear, machine gun and pistol upgrades, weapon skins, and five stat-boosting infusion bottles.

BioShock Infinite launches on March 26th for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

The problem with DLC for me is by the time it does finally come out I've moved on to other games. They better have all the DLC out by the end of the summer or it will get lost in the rush of fall

Same, even if its a game I really enjoyed like for example Far Cry 3, I don't care about DLC once I have finished it long time ago. I won't go back only for that, I moved on to new games.

Actually kind of miss the days when I didn't have a job and would play the hell out of the few games I had. Now It's just a never ending cycle of games. Dear god it will never end.

Consider getting the season pass after the DLC has all been released if you are still interested. I don't know about this early bird special crap but for season passes like the one for Darksiders it was cool that I bought it late and the season pass has dropped to $20 with all content immediately available. What it does make me notice though is the DLC not associated with the season pass. I think if you are shelling out for a season pass in advance of DLC reviews and release... a season pass should really cover all DLC. You pay in advance for DLC that may be crap and then they release better DLC outside of the pass based on consumer feedback...WTF

Im split on all of this. I hate worthless DLC, I also hate DLC that holds out important story. I hate DLC that comes months after ive stopped playing, and I have day 1 DLC.

I Guess in the end I hate DLC you have to pay extra for.
