GAMING NEWSBioware Officially Details Mass Effect 3's MultiplayerPosted on Tuesday, October 11 @ 09:00:00 Eastern by Daniel Bischoff
Mass Effect 3 will feature 4 player co-op multiplayer. With friends in tow, you'll be able to engage in multiplayer-specific missions over Xbox Live, PSN, and via the good ol' internet on PC. You'll choose from classes and races and combine abilities and weapons to fight off enemies in "key territories." Apparently playing this multiplayer mode successfully will result in positive effects on the outcome in single-player. Mass Effect 3: Galaxy at War is a system allowing players to fight the galactic war on multiple platforms. This will get detailed further at a later date, but Bioware has confirmed that Galaxy at War will effect Mass Effect 3's overall "Galactic Readiness" level. This measures Commander Shepard's "ability to apply every possible asset - people, weapons, resources, armies, fleets - in the final battle against the Reapers." You know what this means don't you? Mining on your iPhone. I'm calling it. There's a FAQ in the Bioware forums you should read. Wait wait! Quick groaning! More from the Game Revolution Network Comments
