Black Tusk Working On More Than Gears, "All Original IP" In Development

Posted on Monday, January 27 @ 11:00:08 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Earlier today, Microsoft announced that Black Tusk Studios will be taking over the Gears of War franchise following the company's purchase of the IP from Epic Games. Since then it has been called into question whether or not the studio is working on a new franchise as well.

The Xbox Jobs Twitter account has confirmed that yes, Black Tusk Studios has more in the works than just Gears

That said, Phil Spencer confirmed earlier today that the teaser video shown off at E3 last year was merely a "concept piece," so whatever new we see from the team will likely be different from what was first shown off. Still, it's nice to know that some fresh ideas are being toss around at the Big M in addition to tried-and-true franchises.
