While younger gamers have flocked to the brand, more mature consumers remain reluctant to jump on board. Skylanders move forward with trappable enemies, though I doubt it’ll turn stubborn heads.

Borderlands 2 Mechromancer DLC Released A Week Early For All Platforms

Posted on Tuesday, October 9 @ 09:43:53 Eastern by Jonathan_Leack

Patience sucks, and no developer knows how much you hate it more than Gearbox Software.

Rather than waiting until next week, today you'll have access to Borderlands 2's first downloadable content in the form of a new character: Gaige. However, it's likely you've heard of her under her class name of Mechromancer. She's said to have some great dialogue, and comes with a special robot friend she calls Deathtrap.

The Mechromancer's skill trees are already available on the official site, and boy do they look great. Best Friends Forever makes Gaige and her trusty friend, Deathtrap, walking tanks with substantial area of effect damage. On the other hand, Little Big Trouble specializes in magical damage and making her robot as much of a threat as possible. Lastly, Ordered Chaos is for the player who likes to make a huge mess on the battlefield with tons of damage and high reward skills.

Later today, all pre-orders will have free access to the new character, but those who didn't believe the hype will have to cough up $9.99. We told you so!
