Browncoats Unite! Firefly Online Game Revealed

Posted on Thursday, July 18 @ 13:44:39 Eastern by

Available for Android and iOS devices, Firefly Online has been announced at Comic-Con 2013 by Fox Digital Entertainment, who has aptly dubbed it as a "multi-user, social online roleplaying game" developed by Quantum Mechanix Interactive.

That this is actually happening should be (sort of) a relief for Firefly fans who have been snubbed by a defunct MMO in 2006 and another 2011 title from DarkCryo who didn't have rights to a Firefly game in the first place. Hopefully, this mobile effort won't a complete wash as well, or else I will have to threaten the entire development team out of the airlock.

Their next step is to show some actual gameplay footage and not just the teaser trailer above, if just to prove that this isn't some cash grab.
