Build Your Own Home In Skyrim's New DLC, Hearthfire

Posted on Tuesday, August 28 @ 09:30:00 PST by Alex_Osborn

Bethesda has just announced its latest downloadable add-on for Skyrim. DubbedHearthfire, this DLC pack doesn't appear to bring any particular story or combat-centric additions to the experience, but rather allows the player to build a house, raise a family, and the like. Sounds anawfullot like "Skyrim: The Sims" if you ask me.

Accompanying the announcement is a trailer thathighlightsall of the additions thatHearthfirewill bring. For a full rundown on everything that will be included in the downloadable content, check out the video above.

As of right now, the DLC is only confirmed to be coming to the Xbox 360 at the affordable price of 400 Microsoft points and with a release date of September 4th. I can only imagine how furious PlayStation owners who are still patiently waiting forDawnguardare right now.
