Call of Duty Elite Content Gathered On March 20th

Posted on Wednesday, February 29 @ 15:10:38 Eastern by

Activision wants you to know that the non-subscribing masses out there enjoying Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 without the new maps Elite members have had for several weeks now will be able to join in on the fun when Content Collection #1 hits Xbox Live on March 20th.

This is, of course, ahead of the PS3 version of Modern Warfare 3 and will include the first four downloadable content "drops" made available to Elite members. That means a swarm of new bodies will make their way to the Liberation, Piazza, and Overwatch maps, while both Elite subscribers and Collection purchasers will be enjoying the new map Black Box and two new Special Ops Missions.

Black Box features a downed Air Force One surrounded by multilevel homes and a Southern California neighborhood. Black Ice will have players infiltrating a diamond mine via snowmobile where you'll need to plant explosives. Negotiator sees players heading to India for hostage extraction which means plenty of breach-and-clear scenarios.

These new downloads will be available on Xbox Live March 13th for Elite subscribers, ahead of the March 20th collection date.
