LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Everything I Learned About Call of Duty: Ghosts Last Week
I wasn't allowed to talk about the new Infinity Ward game last week when I met with Activision, and I don't have much to say now that Xbox One spilled the beans.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's Collection 1 Dated

Posted on Tuesday, March 13 @ 15:52:31 Eastern by

The not-so-Elite masses will soon enjoy the maps and Spec Ops missions that Call of Duty Elite subscribers have been enjoying for some time now. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection 1 bundles the Piazza, Overwatch, Black Box, and Liberation multiplayer maps with the Negotiator and Black Ice Special Ops missions.

The three new pieces of content, Black Box, Black Ice, and Negotiator will be available the same day for Call of Duty Elite members. Collection 1 will be available first on Xbox Live March 20th. The DLC collection will most likely run players 1200 Microsoft Points as it has in the past, but we're checking to make sure.

I'm actually surprised at how little fuss people seem to be raising over Call of Duty Elite since Modern Warfare 3's launch. Is Activision's experimental subscription service a success?

I think most of the people who would complain have moved on from Call of Duty already, and the people left are the ones dumb enough to actually pay for it.

Ya you would have to be stupid to pay for something thats actually a decent deal, especially if theres 3 sets of 1200 point DLCs that come out, that would pay for the elite sub right there.

If you want to talk about something that people are stupid for paying for, talk about xbox live.

Ya, your right, i only dislike xbox live because its popular, its not because it forces you to pay to unlcok content for games you already paid for or anything /sarcasm.

I know there was over 1 million premium Elite subscribers at launch, but I can't find anything more up-to-date. Maybe the release of the maps has increased numbers? Who knows. I'm sure Activision thinks it's a success from the extra $50 or $60 million at launch. I had the 20th marked to download the maps, but ME3 erased it from my calendar. With ME3's multiplayer being so good, I'll be waiting for this to go on sale. What I'm really interested in now is map packs for ME3. Maybe new enemy types too (fingers crossed)?
