Call of Duty XP Attendance Comes with Hardened MW3

Posted on Wednesday, August 3 @ 12:58:18 Eastern by

If you're one of those guys playing Call of Duty late into the night in your college dorm, you're probably not the audience for Activison's Call of Duty XP convention. If you're someone who buys each Call of Duty title to enjoy the single-player campaign, you're probably not the audience for Call of Duty XP. If you're planning on buying the Hardened edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, you might be the audience for Call of Duty XP.

That's because all attendees of Call of Duty XP in Southern California will receiving a "special redemption code" for the Hardened Edition of Modern Warfare 3 when the game launces on November 8th.

In addition to the announcement of goodies for attendees, Activision has also stated that MW2's Scrapyard level will be recreated at the convention, joining The Pit. We Can Pretend, known for the "Find Makarov" short will also be collaborating with Activision production on a Modern Warfare live-action short.

Finally, gamers visiting Call of Duty XP will be able to engage in Juggernaut Sumo and a "military-style zip-line plunge across the Call of Duty XP compound.

What. The. F***. This XP convention is sounding more and more insane.

So...they're giving you a code to upgrade to the Hardened edition? Or if you buy the Hardened edition they give you some knick-nacks?

Either way, I'll be purchasing the regular version and get back on my high horse. CoD multiplayer is like riding a bike, once you know how, you never forget.

I wouldn't say upgrade, its a voucher for that version of the game. So it's completely free.
