Capcom Developing Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition Ver. 2012

Posted on Monday, August 1 @ 08:28:50 Eastern by

I can feel your blood boiling... but wait!!!

While it is true that Capcom is developing Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition Version 2012, they won't be charging you for it. The update will arrive as a completely free patch "in the fall or winter time". That's according to series producer, Yoshinori Ono, while speaking at EVO2011 this weekend.

The update will bring some much-needed balancing changes.

Ono has also requested that fans tone down the profanity and vulgarity being sent to him and Capcom via Twitter. But we really don't foresee the legions of pissed off fans toning it down anytime soon.

Ya know, they could just be like normal developers and just issue a patch every now and then without having to change the name of the game.

Calling it 2012 edition is a bit much.

When one dropkicks a hornets’ nest one should not be surprised to be stung. If Ono wants less “profanity and vulgarity” he should either quit Twitter, or better yet quit Capcom.

I hope the patch gets rid of Yun. I was bored to death watching Yun fights yesterday at EVO. Dive Kick! DIVE KICK!

wow something free from capcom, did hell just freeze over?

They don't have to worry about me lashing out at them through messages I did it yesterday by trading in mvc3 and officially ending the purchasing of that series, still undecided about picking up the SS4AE does anyone know if this is truly the last edition or if they'll strike again? Either way buying pre-owned hahaha
