REVIEWSGRiD 2 Review
Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.
State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?
LATEST FEATURESXbox One Controller Hands-On
The more time I spend with the Xbox One's controller, the more subtle yet meaningful improvements reveal themselves.
E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

Check Out AMD's TressFX Hair Tech In Tomb Raider
Posted on Monday, March 4 @ 10:10:19 Eastern by Jessica_Vazquez
PC gamers can once again tout the fact that their platform trumps the competition, as AMD’s TressFX hair tech in Tomb Raider is evidence to this fact. Check out the clip above to see it in action.
In the console versions, Lara's hair is clumped together in an unrealistic ponytail, but as you can see above, the improved PC version of the game allows players to see each strand of hair move independently. It's not perfect, but it sure is a whole lot more impressive than the alternative.
Tomb Raider launches tomorrow for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Our review is already up, so be sure to give it a read right here.
I really enjoy the physics but her hair doesn't seem to change the way it reacts much when it gets wet which makes it seem a bit unbelievable. Still cool and better than cement hair.
Cool tech demo but for me it feels a little distracting...it's very bouncy and the fact that it doesn't get wet kind of puts a damper on it for me (haha). Watching her walk through a waterfall and come out with super bouncy dry hair irks me more than fairly rigid hair for whatever reason. Still, it does seem to help make action sequences a bit more dynamic. Maybe if were toned down just a hair...two in a row.
Just as soon as the new graphics card shows up with my steam code I'll be playing it (it should be tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest). I do need to go download the latest drivers though, I think I'll do that now.
Without getting into details, does that dude who grabs Lara get any references later in the game? I can't help but believe he really did want to help her.
