Check Out The New Eeveelution Coming To Pokémon X & Y

Posted on Thursday, February 14 @ 12:34:02 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

True Pokémon fans don't need me to remind them who Eevee is. The cute little brown dog first appeared in Pokémon Red & Blue, and would evolve into one of three different monsters based on which evolution stone you chose to give it.

As the series has grown over the years, so have the number of possible evolutions. The upcoming 3DS titles Pokemon X & Y are no different, adding Sylveon to the mix.

What do you think of this new evolution form? Do you have a favorite of the now eight different options? I was always a big fan of Jolteon.

I have no idea what kind of Evolution that could be. I am a bit disappointed though, i think a rock or ground evolution would have been better.

Overall i think i like Vaporeaon the best.

The normal form of Eevee is my favorite, though that hardly matters considering the only Pokemon game I played was Pokemon Red.

Am I the only one that thinks it was a bad decision to increase the number of Pokemon in each game? Personally I think 150 was a good number, since that is probably about the limit to what a person can remember. Not that it should be the same 150 every time, but I wouldn't want to have so many Pokemon in a game that you can't appreciate the relative power and rarity of each one.

Each new Eevee evolution is gayer than the last one.

    And Jolteon is my favorite.
