Check Out This Haunting Gameplay Footage Of The Last of Us

While a handful of very fortunate members of the press—including GR's Anthony Severino—have had a chance to experience some fungal-infected gameplay of the The Last of Us, the rest of us are left drooling over their previews.
Fortunately for all you Naughty Dog fans, two minutes worth of footage has made its way onto YouTube, courtesy of SamGNN Bahamut.
Is it just me or is the sound design incredible? Those noises emanating from the infected are totally eerie and awesome. What do you think of the footage? Be sure to share your thoughts in the comments below.
Yeah, they really nailed the horror feel with that clicking noise. When they first called them Clickers in my demo, I thought to myself "what a stupid, timid name" and "clicking? that sounds so lame". Then I heard the clicking sound for myself, with the volume turned to max on this unbelievable speaker setup they had there, and it was bone-chilling. Made me anxious and nervous, before I even saw them.
This looks really intense compared to the slow paced gameplay shown before. Good to see that there will be a bit of both. Nice to know there's still a few reasons to keep the PS3 lying around.
It reminds me of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. just a bit. That's no small compliment. The part I'm thinking of is Yantar. Yantar is where the force making the Zone tick truly reveals its fangs for the first time. Up to this point human enemies have been fully human and mutants, while hideous and often terrifyingly dangerous, are clearly distinct from humans and while the Zone is dangerous there is not much sense that it changes or alters people on its own. Yantar is where that changes forever.

The SamGNN link is working. And yes, that is some pretty intense looking gameplay.
