Chrono Trigger Coming to PSN October 4th... No, Really!

The last time I posted this, it was a bit of a cock tease, which led to some premature... excitement. But it was a false alarm. Sony slipped up and said it was coming when it wasn't.

Fuckers! They should know not to toy with our emotions like that.

But Sony is like our high school sweetheart, we just can't stay mad at them, especially when they're making it up to us by releasing Chrono Trigger to the PlayStation Store this upcoming Tuesday. They bought me flowers, too.

    It's definitely my favorite classic jrpg. If you are into that type of game and have never played it, then it'll be well worth your money.

    If you haven't played it, it falls into the must play category. There is a reason it is so highly regarded, and it is a truly GREAT game.

    Any word on which version of the game it is? If it's the DS version it could be pretty sweet.

    Hopefully not the original Playstation port. The load times were so horrendous that I never bothered finishing it on the PSX.

    0. Bought hard copies many years ago, I feel that still entitles me to keep my own digital copy. Will not elate though, not sure if going on might violate any rules around here.

    This should be on sale for $2. Not free because it's probably the greatest RPG ever made, but not more because there are so many other versions out there, the DS one in particular being superior to this version so....
