Is it a strategy game? With only 30 seconds of gameplay shown, little could be ascertained from the reveal, but stick with GameRevolution and we'll bring you everything you need to know.

Looking for an upcoming strategy game. Nothing has peaked my interest (or that I've had the hardware to play) since Company of Heroes. RTS Mutliplayer has been lacking lately. I miss out thinking my opponent.

this has to be misinformation, victory games outright said they were developing the next generation C&C title.

They are. EA just renamed Victory Games to BioWare Victory to try and hype it up more. I don't really understand it myself. BioWare Austin was an expansion studio made partially with some former OG BioWare Devs. BioWare Mythic was really just Mythic renamed, but at least it was RPG related.

This? This makes no sense. BioWare is a historic studio with a glowing resume, and it makes me sad to see EA just throw it's name around like that for marketing purposes.

Ubisoft is both a publisher and developer. That would be like EA renaming everything into "EA [Blank]", and Take Two is still better about renaming things "Rockstar" than this. Generally speaking, most Rockstar studios collaborate on their shared games/franchises (GTA, Bully, and RDR all involved collaboration between various Rockstar studios) and are run on the same RAGE Engine, developed by Rockstar San Diego (formerly Angel Studios).

Renaming things makes sense when they're going to work together or are at least working on the same genre. If EA wants to rename its RPG wing BioWare, well that kind of fits, and that way they can share resources and collaborate on a game. C&C Generals is an RTS series, though, and there's really nothing the other BioWare studios could do to contribute. There's no reason to turn Victory into BioWare victory aside from the initial speculation and surprise. In the long run, it hurts Victory Games, it hurts Bioware, and it hurts EA to use the BioWare name with total impunity.
