Control Your Town As Mayor In Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Posted on Thursday, October 25 @ 11:56:20 PST by Alex_Osborn

During this morning's Nintendo Direct, NOA announced that the long-awaited 3DS version of everyone's favorite cutesy town-building sim Animal Crossing will be subtitled New Leaf. Now I now most of you are probably expecting me to make some joke about Nintendo turning over a new leaf with the franchise, but I'll spare you.

As one might expect, the game boasts a slew of new customization options, allowing players to really take ownership of their towns. I think we all know what Daniel Bischoff plans to do...

We still don't have a firm release date, but you can expect it sometime during the first half of next year. So... who's planning to pre-order?
