Could "Osiris" Be Ubisoft Montreal's Next Big Franchise?

Posted on Wednesday, January 30 @ 08:13:32 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

It appears that a new unannounced project is currently in the works over at Ubisoft bearing the name "Osiris." While this could very well be the codename for another Assassin's Creed game or perhaps a new Prince of Persia title, there is reason to believe it may be something altogether brand-new.

Users over on NeoGAF dug up a trailer of the alleged game, which features plenty of motion capture footage as well as the tagline “From the Studio that Brought you Assassin’s Creed.” You can check out the clip over on Mark Kilian's Vimeo account. I'd head over and watch it sooner rather than later, because you never know when it might get pulled.

Remember that image of what appeared to be a next-gen Prince of Persia that surfaced last year? I've embedded it above in case you've forgotten. Superannuation points out that perhaps this has been "Osiris" all along. Let us know what you think in the comments below.

It looks very AC to me, but new IPs really get my motor running.
