Crysis 3 Adds Prophet To List Of Sharply Dressed Video Game Men

Posted on Monday, February 11 @ 22:00:00 Eastern by

Blue overalls, white robes, the half-tuck... and now, the Nanosuit. Crysis 3 is just over a week away and it's now time to say what we've all be thinking... CLOAK ENGAGED.

I would say the voice over alone would get Prophet and his super-suit into the video game best-dressed men's club. It's certainly better than the half-tuck, but I know a lot of you are into Nathan Drake for a lot of different reasons. Last time we saw the game, Blake Peterson wrote that:

It's shaping up as a gorgeous game with intense action set pieces in a beautiful environment that looks to combine some of the most notable aspects of the first and second games in the series."

Will you be suiting up next week or are you looking at your computer and asking yourself "Can it run Crysis?"

This is the first game that's come out in a while that I'm fairly sure my 4 year old rig would have some issues running. Probably will not be picking it up anytime soon, sadly.

Am I the only one that thinks Crysis and Crysis 2 are the most boring, uninspired, uninteresting, derivative shooters out there? Rather than play this mash-up of several games you'd be just better off playing COD, Battlefield, Metal Gear Solid, Halo, or Splinter Cell. I played the multi-player beta for this one and whoo-eee this is some generic stuff right here! Can something be spectacularly mediocre or overwhelmingly mundane? If so think Crysis!

I've been reading GR for 13 years now and just activated my account yesterday! Hello all!

Crysis 2 (on the Xbox 360) couldn't hold my interest for very long. I may give it another go someday, and there are some very interesting ideas in the series, but yeah... a bit boring.

I can't attest to a console version. I played them on PC for the very flushed out sandbox that was single player. I stuck to CoD when I wanted shooter MP.

Clever trailer. This is the first Crysis game (since the "wow" factor of the original's visuals wore off) that I'm interested in.
