GAMING NEWSCrysis 3 PC Requirements Are Nuts, Prepare For Next-Gen GraphicsPosted on Monday, December 3 @ 12:33:59 Eastern by Jonathan_Leack
![]() If you plan to play Crysis 3 on max settings, now is the moment of truth. Crytek has released a set of comprehensive system specs for running Crysis 3. The result are three varying degrees of insanity. Okay, so the minimum specs aren't so bad, but wait until you see the high performance requirements. So the question is: can your PC handle it? If so, which performance level do you fall under? If you're interested in upgrading your PC or building a new one, be sure to check out our PC build guide. That's way beyond what any other game out there recommends. Remember, this is only to run it smoothly, not perfectly.

You quoted the high performance specs.
Most computers nowadays come with 8GB of Ram or more and have a quad core running windows 8. The Nvidia video card by itself costs over $350 so in many cases, the card is more expensive than the computer.

The high performance specs, which are required to run the game smoothly on max settings, not perfectly, require the absolute most expensive hardware on the market sans SLI/Crossfire.
If you don't agree with that then you're simply out to pick a fight.

my biggest issue with your build up is while the requirements are pretty high the hardware isn't exactly new and anyone already gaming on a PC shouldn't have a single issue except maybe a video card upgrade
the video card is expensive tho i'll give you that, best bet if anyone does need the upgrade your better off going SLI/Crossfire with an older card
