Dark Souls PC Petition Has Legs, Namco Bandai's Attention

Posted on Friday, January 13 @ 11:31:36 Eastern by

When you go around begging, pleading, petitioning for death, people pay attention. Seriously... over 60,000 people are just like

Oh God please kill me! I wanna die! Make it so I can die like a thousand times before I even accomplish anything at all! Kill me right off the bat! Don't even give me a second of life, just kill me and then like say that I died and then bring me back to life so that I can get killed again! Please take all my humanity away from me! Please just like make it so that I use my humanity and then kill me and then that way I just wanna fucking kill myself! YES! That's exactly what I want! Please!

Yes, we're talking about the Dark Souls PC Petition, which, as of this writing, has 68,000 signatures and the attention of management at Namco Bandai. Writes forum admin Shoupinou:

Damn you are amazing!

I honestly wasn't expecting such a massive support. My boss(es) even came to talk to me about this, after it explodes all around the world. If you wanted to have the attention of Namco Bandai Games, now you have it.
The future is in your hands, and I hope you will keep supporting this.

I make a personal objective to make sure every relevant people in Namco Bandai Games is in touch with this formidable effort.

If you haven't signed up for repeatedly getting your ass killed by skeletons and shit, do so now by heading over here.

I like to think my signature made them consider the option of porting it to PC.

Here's hoping if they do this it isn't just a half assed, shoddy console port and it takes full advantage of being on the PC.

    Considering it's Namco Bandai...

I'm just hoping they release a patch to figure out the random multiplayer issues, bottomless box cheat, and just the P2P connection lag, it's ridiculous when trying to defend yourself against someone that teleports behind you for an easy backstab.
