Darksiders Coming Free To PS Plus Subscribers This Week

Posted on Monday, January 14 @ 17:07:41 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

PlayStation Plus subscribers have a very compelling reason to visit the PlayStation Store when it updates tomorrow, thanks to the addition of Vigil Games' Darksiders to the service's library of free games.

In case you didn't already know, THQ is going to get picked apart next week by bidders interested in picking up the publisher's assets, so there's no knowing where Vigil's action-adventure series will end up. While not a big-selling franchise, the series is loved by many for its rewarding action and challenging puzzles.

In addition to getting Darksiders for free, PlayStation Plus subscribers will also be able to pick up the PS Vita title StarDrone Extreme for just two measly bucks at 50% off.
