Darksiders II Details New DLC "Abyssal Forge", Releases October 30

Posted on Wednesday, October 24 @ 12:54:19 Eastern by

THQ has revealed an onslaught of details for the second DLC for Darksiders II entitled Abyssal Forge, and it plans to be much grander and better than Argul's Tomb.

Taking place in the swamps of the Shadow Lands, Death must investigate the legend of the Abyssal Forge, a living weapon whose purpose was to channel the dark power of the Abyss into crafting legendary weapons. But the maker of this forge named Mad Smith was exiled and, perhaps out of loneliness, revenge, or both, it has crafted a vicious army that now threatens the world.

Death can explore two additional dungeons, defeat even more difficult enemies and bosses, and earn unique legendary loot not available elsewhere.

Just in time for Halloween, Abyssal Forge is priced at $9.99 or 800 MSP, and releases next week on October 30 for X360, PS3, and PC, except for PS3 owners in Europe who will get it the following day.

I picked up a copy and its worth it, enough hack n slash and decent combat to keep you entertained and a story in there somewhere
