Day One Edition Of Xbox One Includes 1 Free Year Of Xbox Gold

Posted on Thursday, June 13 @ 11:11:24 Eastern by Keri_Honea

If you decide to preorder an Xbox One, you can choose between the Day One Edition and the standard edition. The standard edition contains the device, the Kinect, and one controller, but the Day One edition holds something a little more special (special meaning special in the eyes of the beholder).

The Xbox One Day One edition includes premium packaging (no one cares), a specially marked controller, a Xbox One Day One Achievement (we all know this is the real reason for preordering this version), and a free 12-month subscription to an Xbox Live Gold account. This latter incentive is not as widely known, and it throws in an interesting bargain.

How many of you already have your preorders in?
