Dead Space 3 Coming February 5th, New Gameplay Trailer Shown

Posted on Tuesday, August 14 @ 16:10:11 PST by Jonathan_Leack

If there's one thing I'm afraid of it's a void of compelling games to start off a new year. Thankfully we have nothing to worry about in 2013 because Dead Space 3 has us covered.

Dead Space 3 will be made available for both PC and consoles on February 5th in North America and February 8th in Europe. By pre-ordering the game you'll get "free" access to two DLC bundles, one called First Contact and the other Witness the Truth. First Contact will include a golden suit of armor and a weapon called The Negotiator which consolidates the Linegun and Tesla Beam into one deadly package. On the other hand, Witness the Truth will provide a colorful suit of armor and a weapon that's half shotgun, half assault rifle.

To coincide with the release date announcement was an extremely atmospheric gameplay trailer that explores Isaac Clarke's upcoming challenge to survive filled with desperation and nightmarish creatures. See it in its full 1:48 minutes of glory below:
