Deadpool Does Whatever He Wants In New Trailer

I like Deadpool. I understand that his shtick is being "kind of a big deal" but honestly any game that gets Nolan North to not sound like himself is fine by me. Sure you can still tell that the venerable gaming voice actor is there, but at least he's got some range.

Another thing I like about Deadpool? He's not afraid to make up his own back-of-the-box quotes... or at least he's not afraid to ask his mom for one. Our friends at Super Hero Hype shared this trailer with us and noted that Daniel Way's abundance of experience writing Deadpool in comics should help Activision and High Moon Studios bring the character to life in the game.

So there's more to writing Deadpool than snappy one-liners? Deadpool (the game) will be out later this year for Xbox 360 and PS3.

    Big marketing campaigns, to me, usually mean that the game can't sell itself.

    ... I like Deadpool, so I hope they do a good job.

    It seems like he's trying too hard. Maybe that's just how loud Americans normally speak.

    I don't know much about Deadpool except that Wolverine: Origins butchered the character. Looks interesting though, hope the game turns out to be good.

    I ****ing love Deadpool. I can't say i'm a fan of how his voice will sound in this tho... but it could grow on me.

    I really hope this game'll be good, i haven't played a fun superhero game since Spider-man 2 and X-Men Legends for Gamecube. However something tells me that this will be another Duke Nukem.
    2nd trailer and still no gameplay footage... I don't need to be hyped up anymore, what i need is to see what it plays like.
