Ironic that he wants to pass judgement on a game considering he played a part in making one of the most disappointing games of all time. But I was a little surprised at the low score EGM gave the game too

Um, wat? He created one of the most memorable games/franchises of all time (Duke Nukem 3D), and helped jump start the FPS genre in the first place with id and Apogee (do you remember the PC market, or were you born after 1993?). Are people really getting this upset over a comment he made? First of all, it's EGM... post-prime. Second, it's Twitter (lol). Third, who ****ing cares. Obviously if people are psshing Broussard's comments, he still matters as an industry figure and that's what counts. REGARDLESS THOUGH...George still knows how to turn heads, whether he's making games or not. Trolls need to troll harder next time.

yeah, I didn't read in depth ( just browsed through it) but from what i gathered the main issue reviewer had was that halo 4 plays like halo and not like CoD...

To be more precise, his main point is that Halo is out-dated, and other FPS series show how to do it better. I can't say that I agree with that, but it's still an understandable perspective.

His specific examples were seriously flawed, though.

I waited 14 years to get my hands on the sequel to DUKE NUKEM 3D - which I think was the second FPS I ever played - right behind DOOM.

Whoever "produced" and "developed" DNF should be FIRED and never allowed to touch a PC again. what's sad is these ******* ADHD retard kids who've grown up on CoD, think DNF was actually decent.

DN3D had the best map design for a singleplayer experience I've ever seen - and I've played EVERYTHING. DN: Total Meltdown's extra maps were incredible.

I'm surprised people aren't swinging on his nuts cause he's defending Halo 4 to a lower review score than what it's getting everywhere else. But reviews won't matter, it's the consumers wallets and how long the multiplayer can keep people engrossed. The singleplayer will be fun for a couple runs but most people that are going to pick up Halo 4 want to kill each other online.

Casting my mind back to that one Psych paper I took, a retard is the definition for anyone with an IQ of lower than 85. If what you mean when you call someone a retard is in fact someone with a mental disability or some other definition, you are inaccurate & you'll probably find that they don't appreciate being called a retard either. Calling someone a retard should only be offensive to the person you are insulting, if anyone else feels offended by the term, it means they are admitting to being a retard in which case I don't know what to say to that.
