Destiny's Peter Dinklage Voice Work "Updated"

Posted on Monday, June 30 @ 05:13:30 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

While the overall reception to the Destiny alpha was quite positive, the game did get a bit of flack for its rough and rigid voice acting. Peter Dinklage did the voice work for Ghost, and his line: "That wizard came from the moon!" garnered a lot of criticism from gamers.

Fortunately, however, that was only the alpha, allowing Bungie plenty of time to go in and make some changes to the voice acting, which, believe it or not, the team has already done.

"The Ghost dialog has already been updated for Beta," Bungie shared in a weekly update post on its blog. "It will be updated again for launch on September 9th, as well. Funny thing about Alpha builds…they’re not done. Please pardon our Moon dust!"

The beta for Destiny kicks off in just a couple weeks for PlayStation owners and in late July for Xbox gamers. Are you hyped for its release, especially now knowing the voice work has been retooled?
