Deus Ex: Human Revolution To Revolutionize Film

Posted on Tuesday, July 10 @ 12:33:59 Eastern by

Following yesterday's news that work on an Assassin's Creed movie was moving forward, Eidos and Square Enix have announced that a deal has been struck with CBS Films to adapt Deux Ex: Human Revolution for the silver screen.

The Edios Montreal team will be working closely with producers Adrian Askarieh and Roy Lee, responsible for Hitman and How to Train Your Dragon, respectively. Terry Press, co-president of CBS Films said in a statement:

No one knows Human Revolution like the team that created it, and we look forward to working with them from day one to make a film adaptation worthy of the Deus Ex name.

One thing's for sure: this movie is going to be gold.

Who the hell is CBS Films anyway? This had budget production written all over it. I'd like to see Takashi Miike take on DXHR.
