Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

Diablo III Character Calculator Now Live!

Posted on Wednesday, September 14 @ 15:08:25 Eastern by

Blizzard has finally released the skill calculator, where you can plan the skill tree for your chosen class, be it the Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Monk, Witch Doctor, or Wizard. I'm going to follow my Asian stereotype and say that I'll probably choose the Monk with at least a Mantra of Healing and Transcendence for some uber healing ablities.

Through to level 30, you can choose up to six active skills as well as three passive skills. Additionally, each active skill can be enhanced with one of five runestones: Alabaster, Crimson, Golden, Indigo, and Obsidian. Some of their effects are better than others depending on the skill, but all of them are quite powerful nonetheless. I mean, the Crimson Runestone increases the rate of regeneration for Mantra of Healing to about 3 times the standard rate, while the Indigo Runestone forms a shield around you and your allies for 10 seconds. Not bad for a glowing rock.

What is your build of choice?

Monk looks like the most fun to me but Wizard is also tempting. I like to go all out damage. But I'll use some healing skills too if let's me play without having to stop to eat or bandage or anything like that.

I hate to be that guy seeing as how at one time I was really looking forward to this game...but forcing an internet connection for single player, no mods, and a real cash auction house kinda killed this game for me. Will most likely be picking up Torchlight 2 over this.

i'm sorry, but all the things you complained about were put in place to prevent the same thing that happened with diablo 2. hackers and dupers competely destroyed the great game diablo 2 was and could have been for a lot longer then it lasted.
